A Personal Journey from Tragedy to Advocacy
Attorney Kristopher Torres knows firsthand the life-altering impact of tragedy. At 17, he survived a devastating car accident when a speeding driver ran a red light, striking the passenger side where he was seated. The collision left him in a coma for a week, with severe head injuries requiring over 60 stitches and months of physical, mental, and occupational therapy. Through determination, the support of his family, his faith, and skilled medical care, Kris relearned to walk, regained his athletic ability, and graduated in the top 5% of his class.
Education, Career & Credentials
Building Expertise to Serve Florida Clients
Kris earned his B.A. in English Language/Literature and M.Ed. in Secondary English Education from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude. He taught 12th grade British Literature and coached varsity baseball before pursuing law. Encouraged by his students, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida International College of Law and has been a dedicated plaintiff’s personal injury attorney since 2011. Licensed to practice throughout Florida and in federal court in the Southern and Middle districts, Kris is an active member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association, the Stuart Chamber of Commerce, and served as president of the Professional Referral Network.
